Work-in-Progress Wednesday 3 (25)

Hello.

First off, today's one of my best friend's birthdays. Happy birthday, Arielle!

Second, it's been awhile since I did WIPW, haha. Wonder if anyone remembers me.

Actually, I'm not actually working on much *at the moment* either because I don't have enough yarn or the right needles for certain orders. These are pretty much the only projects I have going on:

I'm not sure if these gloves count as a WIPW or not. I made the first glove a long time ago and just finished the second a couple weeks ago. Now I'm adding finger holes on as an afterthought, which isn't working out very well, haha. q:



















Yeahh. Like I said, I'm not working on much right now. But I'll be really busy in the next few days or so.

Oh. My Bad.

Wow. I haven't even thought about blogging in forever, haha.

So, things to report:

I now have an online store. I had one before, but now it's more official.

Right now it's just custom orders, though. When I first put on Facebook that I could make stuff for anyone who wanted me to, I had no idea so many people would actually buy stuff. Therefore, I am now nice and backed up with orders, and have been since September. (;

I've also finished my vest. (This Pattern)

I added these sleeves (they're crochet):





















 I love it. Only thing is, the sleeves fall down all the time, which is really annoying.

I also finished that quilt I was sewing. Well, the sewing the blocks together part, anyway. My aunt took it home to do the actual quilting part of it. Can't wait to see it! (:

Work-in-Progress Wednesday 2 (4?)

Hey everyone. My second WIPW(hosted by Tami's Amis and Other Crochet), although for everyone else it's their fourth.

I'm not as far along on my vest as I would have liked to be, but I'm still much farther than I was last week:

About to start on the straps. Hopefully all goes well.

I've Started A Vest (Work-in-Progress Wednesday)

Alright, so, today I'm participating in 'Work-in-Progress Wednesdays' over at Tami's Amis and Other Crochet. I saw it on Ravelry and decided to give it a try. (: Hopefully it's fine that I just started this project.



This is the vest I started yesterday(Ravelry link). I love the lace! The whole vest looks like it's going to be amazing. I hope everything works out like it's supposed to, haha.


I finished the first lace repeat last night, did the second one this afternoon, and have now started on doing the stockinette. Check out my Ravelry page for it (you'll need an account to look at it).

I love the way it looks.  Erin from 'Today I Made' designs beautiful (not to mention easy) patterns. I hope to make her Emily Hat soon-ish. But, of course, I need the right length needles. Oii. There's always something...Haha.

 I also finished my other brother's hat a couple of days ago (or was it yesterday?...Who knows).

A New Layout, And Pictures

Hey there everyone.

Like the new layout? It's a bit more easier to read now, and, it's green. You can never go wrong with green! (;

But, anyway.

I bring pictures of my new yarn stash. Well, I guess it's not exactly a new stash of yarn...But it is newly arranged.

I also knitted a black-and-gray-striped-beanie for my brother, which I don't have pics of because I doubt he would be willing to pose for one, and I'm rather afraid to ask. (: I've already started to knit another black-and-gray-but-not-as-dark-of-a-gray-striped-beanie for my other brother. They're really quick and easy to make, so it'll probably be finished sometime tomorrow.

I'm Bad At This.

What's happened to me? I was actually doing kinda good in March (a total of 11 posts) and now...I fail. Haha. Guess it's 'cause I haven't been doing much crafting lately. I don't know why; I haven't been really busy or anything. However, I did get back into the crafting spirit a couple of days ago. Who knows how long it'll last, though...

But, enough of that. I'll try to blog more.

I finished that skinny scarf I was making. It's kinda short, but I'm beginning to think I like those kind of scarves; short, and skinny. Doesn't keep you very warm, but it works good on those kinda-cold-but-not-really days. Plus, you can use 'em as sashes/belts!

Of course, that's just one glove. I still haven't made the other one yet. xD I also knitted a purple one for my mother, but I don't seem to have any pictures of it, so.

But, here's all that yarn I got from my awesome aunt in Indiana:

Haha. I suppose this poses a slight problem. But, that's okay. :D

I saw the movie "Inception" last night. INSANE MOVIE. I love it, oh so much. I wanna see it again, haha. But, not in theaters. I'll just have to buy it when it comes out on DVD. Haha. :P

Anyway. Sorry for not posting very often! I truly am. :(

Wow. I Feel Horrible.

 Heheh, hey...I've been gone for quite a while, haven't I?

Oii. I very sorry!!! Like I said in my previous post, I was very busy during June. I just got back from Indiana last Sunday. I know what you're thinking..."HA! Excuses, excuses..." But, I don't mean for it to be taken that way! Really!

Haha, but anyway. It was amazing beyond belief. For one, my family is insane in a very awesome way, haha. And, for a another thing, I got two big bags of yarn from my wonderful Aunt Kathy. :D

Ughh. And, I would GLADLY post pictures, but this stupid computer has decided to be evil today so I can't. aIf I postponed this post, I'd probably end up not posting 'til next month, haha. :P

But, yeah...I had originally planed for this post to be much longer, but I'm afraid I'll have to continue this later. D:

I've Been Busy

 Yeah...That's me. O.o

Sorry I haven't posted in, like, a month. O.o I probably won't be posting a whole lot over the summer, starting in June especially. 'Cause, I'll be: hosting my birthday party, helping a bunch of little kids in VBS, my family reunion, and going to Indiana for my other family reunion. Ahh...I love Indiana. Even the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It always feels like it does before a rain...Nice and cool...slightly windy if I remember correctly. :D

Anyway.

A few days ago I crocheted a fingerless glove! It's made from blue multicolored yarn. A little big, but it was my first, and from a made up pattern, so, hey. I'm proud of myself, haha. :D Besides that, I'm sorry to say I have little else to tell you. I've been lost in another reality with my books I guess, haha. ;)

I can't quite remember if I ever told you about the other quilt I'm making. It's crocheted blocks I'm gonna sew together. It's green, brown, off white, and a darker shade of green. Not in much of a rush to hurry it though, seeing as it's May right now, haha.

I hafta say...I'm actually kinda sad as May progresses. One of my bestest friends, Sarah, is leaving for the Philippines on the 21st. :( I'ma miss you Sarah!!! D: Have fun...

I've also been looking through reeeaaaallly old pictures the past few days, in case you're wondering what that random picture up at the top is all about, haha. It's sooo fun! :D

 But, yeah. Just making sure you know not to expect many blog posts during the next few months. Maybe one or two every couple weeks, haha. :p

I'm sure you'll be fine without me, though. ;)
